This session will introduce the process and different approaches to qualitative data analysis. It is suitable for PhD students and academics new to qualitative research. Topics covered:
- Thematic analysis
- Coding of qualitative data
- Developing inductive and deductive frameworks
Learning outcomes: Participants will
- Understand how to approach thematic analysis
- Practice thematic analysis
- Understand the difference between inductive and deductive approaches
